super attic advanced conversion system in Southampton, MA to make the home less drafty, warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer.

This homeowner in Bristol, CT called us looking for attic insulation, as his home was uncomfortable. When our Home Comfort Specialist came out to the home, he spoke to the homeowner about his needs. In addition to making the home more comfortable year round, the homeowner was concerned about drafts and high humidity. He had inefficient fiberglass insulation in his basement.   We had the perfect solution for this customer! In this solution, we utilize two-part expanding spray foam. Once we remove the old insulation, we insulate the rim joist (the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the home). We spray this foam in the rim joist and over the sill plate. Insulating the rim joist in this way seals all air leaks -- filling in the cracks and gaps that are present there. This prevents outside air from getting into the home. Now, this homeowner is much more comfortable in his home!

This homeowner in Barkhamsted, CT reached out to us saying that she needed a door added to the bottom of her hatchway stairs in her basement. She was interested in getting one as soon as possible. She also wanted it to be an insulated door specifically.    We had the perfect solution for this customer. In this solution, we installed an insulated exterior door. The proper framing is installed, followed by a new door with a locking knob. Result - warmer basement and floors over the basement, drier basement in summer, lower fuel and electric costs, less drafts, house easier to heat, more security.
