Cold floors? We can help! Crawl Space Encapsulation Project In Excelsior, Minnesota

These homeowners from Excelsior, MN reached out to DBS for help keeping their floors warm and eliminating musty odors throughout their home. The problem was with their exposed earth crawl space. DBS Design Specialist, James Miller went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. James recommended applying closed-cell spray foam along the joists of this crawl space to seal off outdoor air. CleanSpace® waterproofing vapor barrier was applied along the floor and walls of the crawl space. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Nick Woods and his production crew. The results were a dry, healthy, and warm crawl space with lower energy bills!

Attic Insulation in Golden Valley, MN

This homeowner contacted DBS after enduring a daily routine to bring their space heater upstairs just so they could warm the upstairs addition. They wanted proper insulation to alleviate this issue and finally have a warmer upstairs level. Our Design Specialist visited the property and recommended a solution that involves a full installation of the attic. When Kornell Green, our Foreman, and the crew went to the property, they installed 5 XL can light covers, air sealed and insulated the access points, baffles, and floors using our spray foam insulation. Once the spray foam insulation was complete, Kornell and the team secured the installation further by using our TruSoft Cellulose. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was very happy with the final result!
