Disinfecting & Reinsulating an Old & Dirty Attic in Montgomery, NJ
We were sent out to a home in Montgomery, NJ, to add some new blown-in cellulose insulation to the attic. The customer has owned the home for over 35 years and hasn't been up to his attic in over 15 years! Since almost all of the fiberglass insulation was falling apart, dirty, and no longer efficient, the first thing we did was take all of it out of the attic and dispose of it properly!
Nest, we disinfected the entire attic from top to bottom. Afterward, we added our makers, to ensure that the proper amount of R-value is added to the attic, and then added over 10 inches of TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation. Trusoft fills the attic to its recommended insulation levels, has the highest Class-1 fire safety rating, is resistant to mold and pests and is eco-friendly. New Homeowner Adds Blown-In Attic Insulation in Skillman, NJ
After purchasing his property in Skillman, NJ, this new homeowner wanted our Attic Systems team to come out and add blown-in cellulose insulation to this attic. Overall, since the home was over 30 years old, all the insulation in the attic was no longer efficient.

Tiny Attic Gets New Insulation in Beachwood, NJ
This homeowner in Beachwood, NJ, had a small attic above his bedroom and, after living in the home for over 50 years, decided it was time to add new, better quality insulation to it. So he contacted Attic Systems by Cowleys and we were sent out.
When we arrived, we realized that the attic hasn't been touched in long time, as there was a buildup of dust and the fiberglass insulation had been deteriorated to the point that it was no longer doing its job! With the owners permission, we carefully removed all the deteriorated insulation, disposed of it, and then disinfected the attic. Once we were finished, we replaced all the old insulation with ComfortTherm® insulation. ComfortTherm® insulation provides excellent temperature and noise control, and comes with a vapor-retarder for use in hot, humid climates. Now the homeowner has a clean, reinsulated attic space.
