A Phoenix homeowner called for her 1980's home that hasn't received any attic work since her purchase in 2018. After dealing with several unbearable summers the homeowner called us for a free inspection. We were able to provide her several solutions to make her home more comfortable and reduce her energy bills. The homeowner called back with joy after Arizona's first heat wave and she was happy to report that for the first time she was able to keep her house below 80 degrees.
A fresh attic upgrade helps reduce heat transfer and supports a more comfortable home.
The rooftop ductwork needed improved insulation and sealing. Our team insulated the rooftop ductwork with spray foam and applied three layers of paint over the foam.
The attic went from an area filled with uneven piles of fiberglass insulation to a cleared space with the underlying surfaces exposed.
For the homeowner, completing the insulation removal was a practical step forward after dealing with water leak and mold issues. With the old insulation cleared from the work area, the space is now accessible for the next phase of the project.
