This family in Portland, Connecticut was in need of a new roof on both their home and their shed. After tearing off and disposing of two layers of existing roofing materials, we replaced all sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we were sure to seal all roof deck joints with flashing tape and install 2 rows of an ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Brown. After installing a ridge vent to keep consistent attic ventilation, we finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This cozy one family home in East Hartford, CT had a roof that began to show signs of aging and was in need of replacing. To begin this project, we tore away all the existing roofing material and disposed of the debris appropriately. Upon examination of the roof deck it was determined that there was one damaged sheet of plywood decking that needed replacing. Next, we installed two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier as well as Stormtite Synthetic Underlayment in order to weather proof the home. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Roofing System using IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles in the Castle Grey colorway. This small colonial home in Cobalt, CT was in need of a roof replacement. We started off this project by tearing away and disposing of one layer of asphalt roofing. Next, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from rain and snow.
