This single family home in Ellington, CT was in need of a new roof. After removing one layer of existing roofing material, we removed and replaced 3 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. We finished the job by installing new chimeny flashing to ensure a water-tight seal around the existing chimney. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This lovely single family home in Ellington, CT was in need of a roof replacement and we gave them just that! To start we tore off one existing layer of roofing materials and disposed of them properly. We then inspected and replaced one damaged sheet of plywood decking. Ice & Water Barrier was applied in two rows to ensure protection from all weather conditions and a Synthetic Underlayment was applied in the spots where there was no Ice & Water Barrier. We then installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Black colorway. To finish off this project, we installed a new ridge vent to keep consistent attic ventilation and gave both chimneys new lead flashings. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
Ivoryton was once home to a high population of factory workers, and remains one of Connecticut's most historically rich towns. This house exudes the architectural style of a bygone era. When approaching these types of structures, we are very gentle and careful in our workmanship. If you have a home that has been standing for over a century, we can provide the care it needs in revitalizing it with a new roof.
New England truly is a land dictated by the seasons. This house in Hebron, CT was in need of emergency repair in the middle of a freezing, February winter. We were one of the only roofers that could promptly do a full replacement, despite several feet of snow blanketing the ground. Spring has sprung, and the home is looking fully rejuvenated.
Here is another home that was once plagued by ice dams. This Hebron, CT homeowner was experiencing some leakage and the telltale sign of icicles circumferencing the attic. Those icicles may look pretty, but they are a sure indicator of some serious problems with your roof. Be ready for next year, with a full roof replacement.
