Our customer called for their home was having continual watermarks on the ceiling of several rooms in the home. Once inspected we determined a lot of warm air was lost from their top plate, a dozen recessed lights and a chimney which was not insulated properly. We removed all insulation, air sealed and added all new Cellulose Insulation.
Our customers home is on the market for sale and a buyer inspection flagged mold like substance in the attic. We came in and sprayed Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanical products to clean the attic sheathing and trusses. We recommended a roofing company come in re-route a exhaust duct because it was coming back into the perforated soffit vents under the eaves and also route a shower exhaust fan out a louvered roof vent because it was blowing directly into the attic space which was helping the attic to become to humid. The pitch of the roof was a 8/12 so we had recommended a roofing company out for this. The home was sold and both parties were happy.
Mold growth can be seen in this attic in Milford. The after image shows the attic after being treated with Mold-X2.
