This income-qualified homeowner in Harpursville, NY received some assistance from the NYSERDA program to have some energy-efficient upgrades done to her mobile home. Our Home Comfort Evaluation (HCE) showed us that there was a significant lack of insulation beneath the mobile home. as the fiberglass batts that had been in place were falling down on to the ground below. 3 inches of our closed cell spray foam was used on the underside of the mobile home, adding a good thick layer of protection against the chilling cold of winter and the sweltering heat of summer.
This homeowner in Harpursville, NY had a mobile home that had very little insulation underneath. We proposed to spray 2 inches of closed-cell spray foam to the underside of this mobile home to increase the warmth of the floors during the cold weather. There was some metal duct work that was on the underside of the mobile home, so we spray foamed some metal flashing to the ducts for insulation there as well. As a result, this home will be much warmer through the winter, and cooler in the summer months for this homeowner.
This Harpursville, NY home is a mobile home with an addition built on to one side, the entire home and addition sitting over a crawl space. This particular crawl space had a lot of metal ductwork hanging inside of it, as well as a lot of old fiberglass that was hanging down or had already fallen down in to the crawl space, so we elected to put down a vapor barrier and spray the sides of the crawl space with closed cell spray foam.
