A customer called because there was little to no insulation discovered in the attic after a roof replacement. Our Home Comfort Specialist, Ryan, visited the home and conducted a free consultation and proposed solutions for the homeowner. For this project, the Triple H Production Team air sealed the attic floor and encapsulated the duct system with Tight 'N' True polyurethane spray foam, then installed a mechanical access catwalk platform to contain the cellulose insulation and for easy attic access to storage. Finally, the team insulated the attic floor with 10" of TruSoft Cellulose and installed an airtight and insulated zipper-lined attic tent at the access door to prevent drafts and maintain optimum comfort. The homeowner will now be able to sustain maximum comfort in the house.
A homeowner from Seaford, NY contacted Triple H because of extreme cold in the winter and heat in the summer. Home Comfort Specialist Ryan visited the home to assess the situation and determined that the high temperatures were due to poor attic conditions. The Triple H production team worked to air seal the attic floor, installed baffles for proper attic ventilation, and added a small plywood catwalk platform for storage. The floor was insulated with 10" of TruSoft Cellulose and extended the duct bath fan through the gable end. Finally, the attic scuttle and hatch were air sealed and insulated. The homeowner will now have a more comfortable home year round.
This customer contacted Triple H about her insualtion after it got wet from an AC unit. Triple H preformed a Free Home Energy Assessment and suggested to the customer to upgrade the insulation. Triple H removed all the old and wet insulation from the attic, air sealed all the pentrations on the attic floor before blowing in 14" of TruSoft Cellulose insulation. Now that the home has been properly insulated the customer will experience a more comfortable home as well as saving on utilities.
This customer came to us with concerns about his crawlspace. After Triple H visited the house, they proposed to clean out the old, damaged insulation on the walls and replace it with new insulation, as well as spray foaming the rim joist to seal them. The Triple H crew went in and removed all the old insulation and encapsuled the area with SilverGlo insulation. Now the room will have much lower humidity and much warmer floors upstairs. And with the rim joist sealed and insulated with spray foam there will be less drafts and the house will be easier to heat. With all that now the house will be more comfortable year-round.
Before and After we installed a near mechanical catwalk and storage platform with new blown in cellulose insulation
