This longs resident was looking for less heat in his garage. The area above his garage was used for storage and it was cooking like an over.

After speaking with Jill in the appointment center and then Grant on site, the homeowner chose our garage insulation package. We install soft vents and blow in R-30 cellulose in open garage attic floor and under decking where accessible. We also install attic tent over attic access in garage.

The homeowner in Longs wanted to reduce the strain on their HVAC system and make their garage cooler to enhance energy efficiency. After reading positive reviews about Carolina Energy Conservation's insulation and home energy services, they decided to schedule an energy evaluation. The evaluation recommended installing cellulose insulation in the attic above the garage to an R-30 value. This would effectively block air leakage through small cracks and gaps, preventing heat from entering the garage and impacting the HVAC system's efficiency. With the installation of cellulose, their home will become more energy efficient and comfortable, leading to savings on energy bills.

Our customer had a very dark kitchen area that they wanted to brighten up all year round. They installed a 14 inch Solatube to bring in natural daylight and brighten up the kitchen and breakfast area. The Solatube installed in less than two hours. Now this customer will have Solatube beautiful daylight in their kitchen area all year round. This makes their home brighter and more cheerful. 

After discovering a leaking duct, this home owner contacted Carolina Energy Conservation to look at their attic space. The current blown in insulation was low and not up to code. We suggested the removal and disposal of the existing insulation, followed by air sealing the attic and new blown in cellulose to R38. We encapsulated the ducts throughout the attic and installed a 35 watt Solatube attic fan. The home is now ready for lower electric bills throughout all the season. 

The homeowner in North Myrtle Beach wanted to prevent water seepage and heat transfer in their home. Since there was no prior insulation, these issues were a concern. The best solution was to add closed-cell spray foam. This type of foam expands to fill gaps and crevices, creating a barrier against water infiltration. It also repels water and has a high R-value, about 6.0 per inch of thickness, indicating excellent insulating properties. This helps prevent heat transfer, making it an effective solution for improving energy efficiency and maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures. Now, their home is insulated and protected from water and heat.
