Parapet Protection

Homeowners in Shallowater, TX needed repairs made to the parapet wall and nearby shingles on their roof. Fortenberry Roofing had previously made repairs to another area of their roof so they decided to call them again for this job. Fortenberry's repair team took the old improper flashing from the parapet wall off and installed new flashing and shingles that will protect the roof from water damage. The team also added metal coping caps to the edge (top) of the parapet wall and painted them in a color that complimented the entire property. Now, this home is protected from leaks due to the proper flashing that was installed.

When a Loss = a Win

This homeowner in Abernathy, TX filed an insurance claim on her roof due to hail damage. Her insurance company agreed that the roof was a total loss and that she was eligible for a new one. Tim's parents chose IKO Nordic Impact Resistant Shingles, which are a class 4 shingle, in the color Shadow Brown. These shingles are built to be shock absorbent and remain tough, defending the home underneath them from wind and water damage. By repairing this soffit, Fortenberry Roofing was able to resurrect the protective qualities of the soffit so that it is able to perform the job it was always meant to do, which is to bring protection to the integrity of the roof.
