Goran reached out because his single-story home felt drafty and uncomfortable, and energy bills were higher than they should have been. Even with one level of living space, temperatures weren’t consistent from room to room.

Our team air-sealed and insulated the attic, installed an insulated scuttle cover, and tightened up air leaks around top plates and attic penetrations. They finished by blowing in TruSoft Cellulose insulation. By stopping air and heat loss at the attic level, we helped keep conditioned air inside the home where it belongs.

Now, Goran’s home feels more comfortable year-round, temperatures are more stable, and energy costs are noticeably lower.

We sent Russell out to preform a FREE home energy audit to see where all his air was escaping. Russ found old loose insulation, unsealed wire/pipe runs and uninsulated scuttle cover. Our insulation team removed all the old batt insulation and disposed of it. Installed Silverglo foam board on scuttle and walls. Sealed all internal and external penetrations with Zypfoam. Installed Trusoft cellulose on the attic floor.

Das was having a problem with water leaking into his basement when it would rain heavily.   He called Home Environment Solutions to get help with a solution.   Russ came out and immediately saw the problem.  The gutter downspouts were causing the area around the foundation to become saturated.   

The HES team came out and installed a LawnScape Well and Rain Chute  to redirect the water away form the foundation and stop the water back up.
