Rebecca needed help with the crawlspace in her Moundsville, WV home.   She found evidence of mold and was having trouble keeping the temperature  in the rooms above the crawlspace comfortable.   Rebecca began looking online to find out how to deal with the problems.  She found the Home Environment Solutions website and the answers to all of her questions.   

Rebecca met with Russell Jenkins and explained her concerns.  Russ examined the crawlspace and drew up a free estimate for Rebecca.   They sat down together and Russ walked her through the process.  The Mold would need remediated, the loose falling insulation would need replaced and the crawlspace would need encapsulated.   The crawlspace was also air sealed with closed cell spray foam and an insulated vent cover.

When Russ arrived and saw the knee walls in the attic bedroom he immediately knew they were causing the problem.   The attic needed a thermal barrier.    

The HES team arrived and installed SilverGlo panels  and air sealed the attic.   They also added spray foam to the rim joist to prevent air transfer.  

This single family home in Wheeling, WV has a crawl space under the entire span of the home. When our team began the job, the crawl space was vented and had a dirt floor creating humidity and mold issues as well as uncomfortable temperatures in the living space above.
