1250 Sq. Ft. Home gets R49 Insulation Upgrade with Blown In Fiberglass Insulation in Fresno, CA

Lynn contacted Tyson because she was frustrated by her high heating and cooling costs and her home being hot during summer and frigid during winter. When we came out and inspected her attic, we found that she only had about 8-9 inches of old batting insulation present. Batting insulation has a lower r-value than blown-in fiberglass, so her attic insulation was insufficient for our climate. We determined that an insulation upgrade would best help Lynn achieve her goals.

We began by air-sealing any visible leakage points with closed-cell foam to help prevent airflow between the attic and the living spaces of the home. We then blew in premium fiberglass insulation to an R49 level, which exceeds the Energy Star recommendation for our climate.

The insulation upgrade that we performed will ensure that her home is cooler and more comfortable during summer, and warmer in winter, and her heating and cooling costs will be reduced by up to 30% for as long as she resides in that home.

R49 Insulation Upgrade from 2 Inches to 16 Inches in 1600 Sq. Ft. Home in Fresno, CA

Charlene reached out to Tyson during the winter because her house was frigid. Her heater was constantly running in an attempt to keep her home warm, but was insufficient. Charlene started researching insulation companies and discovered Tyson Energy Solution through our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews. She called us and we came out to inspect her attic where we found that there was only 2 inches of insulation present. She decided to upgrade her insulation to R49, which is higher than the Energy Star recommendation for our climate.

We started the project by air-sealing visible leakage points. We then blew in 14 inches of premium, fiberglass insulation to bring her attic up to R49. The upgrade only took 2 hours.

As a result of the work we completed, Charlene will now enjoy a warmer, cozier home in winter, a cooler, more comfortable home in summer, and reduced heating and cooling costs by up to 30% for as long as she lives in the home.

R38 Insulation Upgrade in 400 Sq. Ft. Garage with Blown In Fiberglass in Fresno, CA

Mike found us through our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews and asked us to install insulation in the attic above his garage. Because he spent a lot of time in there, he wanted it to be a comfortable temperature. He told us that there was currently no insulation up there, which we confirmed when we came out and inspected his attic.

We blew in premium fiberglass insulation to an R38 level, bringing the attic above the garage to the Energy Star-recommended level for our Central Valley climate.

As a result of the work we did, Mike's garage will now be able to maintain a comfortable temperature, which will make his time spent in his garage much more enjoyable.

Quick Insulation Upgrade from 5 Inches to 14 Inches to R38 with Blown In Fiberglass in Fresno, CA

The homeowner contacted us because she wanted to insulate her attic before the hot Central Valley summer came. She believed her insulation was low because her HVAC system ran constantly, both in summer and winter. When we inspected her attic, we found that she was indeed low, with only about 5 inches of insulation present. We determined that to get her home prepared before summer, we would perform an insulation upgrade.

We began by air-sealing visible leakage points to help prevent air from flowing between the attic and the living spaces of the home. We then blew in 9 inches of fiberglass insulation to bring the attic to an R38 level of protection.

As a result of the insulation upgrade, the homeowner and her family will enjoy a cooler home during the summer months, a warmer home during winters, and reduced heating and cooling costs by up to 30% for the life of their home.

Insulation Upgrade to R38 Using Blown In Fiberglass Insulation in Fresno, CA

The homeowner contacted us because their home was constantly hot and uncomfortable during the summer. In fact, they'd had an HVAC repair technician come out to service their air conditioner, thinking that was the issue. The HVAC technician let the homeowner know that their unit was operating normally, but their insulation was low. When we came out and took a look for ourselves, we found this was indeed the case. The attic had only about 3-4 inches of old insulation present. We determined that upgrading the insulation to an R38 level (14 inches of fiberglass insulation) was necessary to help the homeowner achieve her goals of keeping her home cool while also reducing her cooling costs.

We began by air-sealing visible leakage points with closed-cell foam. This helps to prevent air from traveling between the living spaces of the home and the attic. We then blew in premium, fiberglass insulation to a height of 14 inches.

As a result of the work we performed, the homeowner now enjoys a cool, comfortable home during the summer, a warmer home during the winter, and lower heating and cooling costs by up to 30% for as long as she lives in that house.
