This Ranch style home was built in 1850 and is in need of a roof replacement. To start the process, Klaus Larsen Roofing tore off 1 layer of existing roofing material and replaced 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next, we installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, skylights, and chimneys. In terms of shingles, we installed Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Colonial Slate. Lastly, we installed a brand new bathroom exhaust vent as well as 3 new Velux skylights. This house is looking its best thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
Stanley from Unionville, CT, owns a charming yellow home that had a 25-year-old asphalt shingle roof. Over time, a few shingles went missing, and leaks started forming around the chimney. Leaks like these are often a sign of issues with the chimney flashing. If flashing isn’t installed correctly, gaps can allow water to seep in between the shingles and the chimney, causing these problems.
At Klaus Larsen Roofing, every crew member is thoroughly trained in the proper installation of our high-quality products. Stanley chose us because we guarantee not only the best materials but also exceptional workmanship. With our 50-year warranty, this will be the last roof he’ll ever need to put on his home.
