New owners of this home in Moose Lake, MN had issues with water in their partially finished basement. Before purchasing the home, they had us come out to provide a thorough estimate for a new waterproofing system. After they bought the house, they began to move forward with the home repairs.
Our Design Specialist Henrik Maktialo visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing work. It was determined that a new, full protection waterproofing system was needed to protect the home after heavy rains.
DBS Foreman Taylor Allen and crew worked on the interior waterproofing job. The crew began by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage, directing it to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. The crew finished the job by burying the discharge line in the lawn away from the home.
This family can now rest easy knowing their basement has the utmost protection in waterproofing technology.

Once the homeowner contacted us, our Appointment Center quickly scheduled a free, no-obligation home inspection with Design Specialist Henrik. We introduced CleanSpace©—a durable, moisture-proof barrier designed for crawl space encapsulations. The space's accessibility posed a hurdle, requiring some grading work before any actual encapsulation could commence. Our team, led by Foreman Wade, got to work transforming a once daunting area to a clean, dry, and efficiently encapsulated space. By the project's completion, the benefits were clear, transforming what was once a concern into peace of mind.

A homeowner contacted DBS after purchasing a house and wanted to ensure that their crawlspace was a dry and stable place for storage. During an inspection, our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, found a crack in the foundation wall, and he suggested the installation of 3 push piers to stabilize and lift the foundation wall. He also recommended a fully insulated and waterproofed crawlspace and the installation of a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to keep the area dry and clean.
After the homeowner agreed to the plan, the crew, led by Foreman Jared Peterson, arrived and started by clearing out the space and installing the 3 push piers to lift the foundation. They then sprayed the walls and rim joists with a spray foam system to insulate the area and prevent air leaks. Once the spray foam was installed, the CleanSpace™ Wall System was set up to direct water to the sump pump and prevent mold and mildew growth. Finally, the TripleSafe™ sump pump and dehumidifier were installed to ensure that the crawlspace remains dry at all times. The homeowner was very pleased with the final result and now has a dry and stable crawlspace for additional storage.
