A DBS Design Specialist visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the crawl space encapsulation service. It was determined that the crawl space would need to have CleanSpace® installed to act as a vapor barrier for the area. This customer was experiencing a sagging crawl space and reached out to us to figure out the best option for their home. After one of our design specialist assessed the problem, it was determined that implementing new support beams and a SmartJack system was the best solution to their problem.
After figuring out what timeframe works best for the customer's schedule, a foreman and crew began work. After the beams and SmartJack system were installed, the customer was able to appreciate a level floor and left the experience with a WOW mindset!
Waterproofing and Wall Support Installed in Superior, WI to Tackle Basement Leaking and Bowing Walls
This 1950's Superior, WI home had been in the family for years and concerns were building over cracks and bowing in the foundation walls, leading to water and moisture build-up. The homeowners had work done by another company in the past but turned to DBS in hopes of a permanent solution for these ongoing foundation issues.
DBS Design Specialist Cole Lekander visited the home and performed a free, no-obligation estimate for our Waterproofing and Wall Support services. Cole determined that the home would have several PowerBrace™ beams installed to support foundation structure and prevent further movement. Our foreman Zach Jorenby and crew installed 8 PowerBrace™ beams in total.
The homeowner was happy with the work performed and can now enjoy a fully-supported basement.
Insulation and Wall Support Added to Duluth, MN Basement
Homeowners of a 1950's home were experiencing basement flooding after heavy rains. They learned about DBS after receiving a referral from friends and reached out to us in hopes of a permanent solution for their water issues.
DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home for a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing and wall support systems.
From there, DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his crew installed a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System, including supporting rim joists and spray foam insulation around trouble areas. They also installed a WaterGuard® system around the perimeter of the basement for proper basement drainage.
The homeowners were happy with the work performed and now enjoy a safe and supported basement free from water.
