The owner of this boathouse in Brule, WI reached out to DBS looking for help with their sinking boathouse and unlevel bridge.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik recommended our cabin pier system.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed piers below the boathouse and bridge in order to level both structures.

Now that both structures have been leveled, the owner can relax with peace of mind knowing that the boathouse has been permanently stabilized and can be passed down to future generations.

This homeowner in Lake Nebagamon, WI wanted to find a solution for the sinking and sagging floors in their home. The crawl space needed extra support, so they reached out to DBS for a solution.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project with help from Co-Foreman Rowan Wentworth. Together, the team installed the jack systems throughout the crawl space. These systems evenly distribute the weight of the structure and can be adjusted to lift the floor above back to a level position.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Nebagamon, WI, this beloved family boathouse, with a history that spans generations, faced a serious challenge as its foundation began to tilt and weaken. With the summer waves of the lake adding to the instability, the safety and longevity of the boathouse were in jeopardy, sparking concern for its preservation.

The foundation is now solid and secure, ensuring the boathouse can withstand both the elements and the test of time. A homeowner needed better wall stabilzation for the foundation of their home. DBS went in and installed the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System to help support the wall and hopefully straighten it back out. The photos show the yard and foundation wall before and after the anchors were embedded within the soil.

These homeowners in Makinen, MN reached out to DBS for help with making their cabin more energy efficient. Rising heating and cooling costs were an issue in this cabin and the homeowners wanted a permanent solution for the problem. 

A Dr. Energy Saver® Design Specialist went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the property and conducting an energy audit it was determined that closed cell spray foam would offer the best solution for the temperature regulation problem. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg and his production crew.
