Using our expertise, we implemented a system integrating WaterGuard for efficient drainage, IceGuard to prevent potential freeze-thaw issues, and CleanSpace® liner for a clean, dry, and protected space. The new homeowner of this property in Coleraine, MN was experiencing issues with keeping their basement dry. Water was seeping through cracks in the walls and causing extensive damage to the paint. After noticing advertisements by DBS, the owner decided to reach out in hopes of finding a solution.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate. After a thorough inspection, Rich informed the homeowner of DBS's waterproofing solutions. Rich recommended installing WaterGuard® Drain System to help with collecting water in the basement running through cracks in the walls. In addition to a WaterGuard®, an UltraSump 4 sump pump would be installed to expel water up and away from the foundation.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with the help of a crew. Together they successfully installed the WaterGuard® Drain System and UltraSump 4 sump pump. The waterproofing solution will help ensure water running down the walls is removed from the home, keeping the basement drier.

Now that the home has been properly waterproofed, the homeowner can relax comfortably knowing that their environment is drier, safer, and healthier.
