After completing a careful inspection, they recommended the owner have TerraBlock™ insulation and SprayFoam installed to fix the insulation problems the home was facing.

One of our foreman led the team in this installation. They began by installing TerraBlock™ bottom crawlspace insulation to stop any heating and moisture issues coming from the floor of the crawlspace. Then they used DES SprayFoam insulation to coat the walls of the crawlspace to avoid any airflow sneaking into the area. Finally, the team used CleanSpace for a clean finish and to allow the space to be used as a safe, dry storage area. With these solutions, this crawlspace is now clean, warm, and ready for use if needed.

This homeowner in Chisholm, MN contacted DBS after experiencing water issues in their basement which was getting in the way of remodeling the basement. Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo conducted a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough and careful inspection, Henrik provided a quote and suggested the installation of our WaterGuard® French drain system. This drain system collects water from the floor joists and walls in order to stop the intrusion before it reaches the inside of your home. 

Foreman Dustin Behning led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team installed the drain lines underneath the floor along the perimeter of the basement. These drain leads to a sump pump that expels the water outside of the home and far enough away that it will not be able to reenter the home.
