Sale Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for this project and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and the waterproofing system.

To permanently stabilize the basement walls, the production crew installed 13 PowerBrace™ steel I-beams. This PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, is meant to support walls from further movement and can be tightened over time, in order to restore the wall to its original position. A SuperSump® Premier Pump System was installed and will work hard to keep water up and out of the basement.

The egress window was also replaced and surrounded by a SentrySeal® rubber membrane to protect the egress area from water. 

A homeowner in Hermantown, MN had a basement with poor protection from leaking water. Old basements with concrete walls and floors are susceptible to water damage, as concrete can begin to crack and shift, allowing outside material to agin access to the interior portion of the basement. In this case, the homeowner reached out to DBS, and had a crew come and install several waterproofing products to aid in the extraction of unwanted water. The photo attached shows both CleanSpace® wall covering as well as WaterGuard® after installation. The results were a success, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more safe and comfortable basement environment.

Their wood posts were being poorly supported with concrete footings, and they were in search of something to provide them with better strength. It was decided that the deck would have helical piers installed to bring lift and stabilization for the structure of the deck. These steel piers are ideal for this scenario, and the homeowner can now feel more comfortable with stronger deck support.
