This customer in East Northport had concerns about their house being too cold. After having Triple H complete a free energy assessment it was determined that the home could benefit from new insulation in the attic. For this attic, Triple H Air Sealed the attic floor and blew in Cellulose insulation. Air sealing is always recommended when putting in new insulation because it seals up all the air leaks in the home before putting the new insulation in. Now that the attic is tightly sealed and has proper insulation the home will stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. This customer will also see a reduction in their utility bill as well.
This customer from East Northport, NY was having comfort issues throughout his home. After an evaluation it was clear the attic wasn’t properly insulated. Triple H Contracting went in, removed all the old insulation and air sealed the entire attic to prevent any air leaks. They then blew in 14” of cellulose insulation to reach the proper R-value. Triple H also installed a catwalk that makes it easy to access all the mechanicals in the attic. As a result, this customer should experience a warmer, less drafty, more comfortable house that they’ll notice everywhere.
A homeowner from East Northport, NY contacted Triple H with complaints of drafty rooms, and stated that they want attic insulation to improve efficiency and comfort. Our home comfort consultant Brian performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Brian was able to provide solutions for the homeowner. Triple H air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 10” of TruSoft cellulose. They sealed the chimney chase with metal flashing and fire caulk. Then they air sealed and insulated the garage ceiling with TruSoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be comfortable in their home and it will be energy efficient.
This homeowner from North Babylon, NY was looking to get his crawl space properly insulated and waterproofed. Triple H went installed a crawl space encapsulation system with drainage matting. SilverGlo foam insulation boards are installed on the walls to increase the R-value in the space and a dimpled plastic drainage matting is installed across the floor to create an airspace and thermal break. Finally, the crawl space encapsulation liner is installed permanently across the dirt floor. Now this home will have much lower humidity, much warmer floors upstairs and a more comfortable home.
After an evaluation for a customer in Deer Park, NY it showed that his attic wasn’t properly insulated resulting in cold drafty rooms, cold floors, and he was having a hard time heating his home. Triple H removed the old insulation. Then they sealed all the various points where air from the home leaks up into the attic and is lost. Then they blew in 12” of TruSoft Cellulose Insulation to reach optimum R-value. TruSoft will not burn, get moldy or attract pests. Now with updated insulation this home will be warmer, more comfortable, less drafty, and easier to keep comfortable resulting in lower fuel and electric bills.
