Encapsulation of crawlspace

This home's crawl space had insulation issues which was causing moisture to get into the space. This caused mildew and mold to build up and create an issue for the homeowner. We did a complete insulation, encapsulation, and mold remediation. 

This homeowner in Carolina Forest noticed their electricity bill was higher than they thought it should be. David asked neighbors surrounding them what their bill looked like. Their bill was higher than other neighbors so David needed to come up with a solution. He called Carolina Energy Conservation to come out and take a look at his crawlspace. After Joel, one of our installers came out and did the FREE evaluation under the home. He noticed that there was some mold and moisture in some spots. The crew was sent to encapsulate the crawlspace with a premium vapor barrier that seals out the cold and outside environment. Now David is enjoying his home and lower energy bill. 

This homeowner needed their crawlspace encapsulated. This is a single family home located in Surfside Beach, South Carolina.

They safely removed and rehoused the critter from the crawlspace. When the critter was found the homeowner was informed about the unwanted house guest. 

After the team finished the job the homeowner was worried about future critters. The team made sure they sealed the opening to the crawlspace so that other critters would not try to make a home inside the encapsulated crawlspace.
