To address the water problem, our Design Specialist recommended replacing the current sump pump and basin with a double safe sump pump system, tied in with a water guard.  The expectation is for the basement to be dry and clean upon completion of the project.

Once our crew was able to come in, they quickly installed the new sump pump system and the owners were happy with the results!

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and conducted a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a careful inspection, Rich provided a quote for our WaterGuard® Drain System. 

Foreman Dustin Behning led the installation of this project. Trenches were created around the perimeter of the basement and the drain lines were placed within. These drains will collect the unwanted water and transport it to the sump pump where it will be expelled form the home.

This time of year, when snow starts to melt and grounds become soaked with excess water, basement flooding can be a common problem among households. In Duluth, MN, a homeowner in the Park Point area was experiencing just this. Park Point is a hot spot for basement flooding, being right on the shores of Lake Superior.
