A resident of Oakdale was interested in insulating their crawlspace. When Triple H evaluated the crawl space you could see the moldy and damaged insulation on the crawl space ceiling. When insulation in the crawl space becomes old it holds moisture and starts to fall from the ceiling. When this happens the air that was originally under the insulation is now on top of it defeating the purpose of the insulation. Triple H installed a GoldSeal Encapsulation System with SilverGlo. The vents and other air seal leaks in the crawl space are sealed and it is insulated with SilverGlo insulation. Then the crawl space encapsulation liner is installed along the dirt floor of the crawl space. The results are warmer, floors, less drafts, a quieter home and lower heating & cooling costs.

A homeowner from Ronkonkoma, NY contacted Triple H stating that he's looking for an estimate for insulating his garage that's connected to the house. He said it gets extremely cold during the winter and extremely hot during the summer. Our home comfort consultant Ryan performed a free evaluation of the home. Upon completion Ryan was able to provide solutions for the homeowner. Triple H disposed of the existing insulation inside of the garage attic, then air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 14" of TruSoft cellulose. They then installed a 2' x 2' catwalk inside the attic in order for maintenance on mechanical systems. The homeowner will now be comfortable and their home will be energy efficient.
This customer from Lake Grove had a free home energy assessment. After completion of the assessment it was determined that this home needed additional attic insulation. The homeowner used their attic for storage, we installed a storage platform with a wood boarder. The homeowner had comfort issues. They felt that some rooms in the house were either colder or warmer than others. By insulating the attic properly the customer should see an improvement in comfort as well as reduced utility bills.
This customer in Lake Grove called for a free home energy assessment. One of the concerns they had was the home was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. This home had can lights. Can lights can be a huge source of energy loss. The can lights are often not completely sealed, allowing air to escape from the conditioned area of the home and into the attic. This will cause comfort issues for the homeowner. Can light covers are installed over the can lights and then spray foam is used to to seal the air leaks. Installing can light covers and sealing the air leaks will result in a more comfortable home.
